TOMS RIVER, NJ - A downed pole on Route 37 in Toms River has prompted commuting delays Tuesday morning, authorities said.

As of 4:19 a.m., there’s a utility pole down on Route 37 eastbound ramp to CR 527/Lakehurst Road in Toms River, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

One right lane is closed and the ramp to CR 527 is closed and detoured, the agency said.
