Le Danse

Le Danse is a contemporary dance studio offering professional dance instruction. Our staff consists of all professional instructors who are caring, creative and nurturing. Curriculum includes specialty Preschool Programs for ages 2-1/2 – 4 specifically designed for the toddler dancer and Childrens Workshops for ages 5-7. Classes include ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre, hip hop and technique. Our specialty classes include Father/Daughter &amp; Mother/Daughter classes, Adult classes, Teen classes, Bollywood classes and choreography for Weddings, Sweet 16 &amp; Anniversary celebrations. The studio has an award winning competition team consisting of students age 4 through teen. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, yet disciplined and structured. Le Danse holds membership in Dance Educators of America since 1986. The studio has been voted People’s Choice Best Dance Studio in the Wayne community. Le Danse is where lifelong friendships begin. students ages 10 to 12 are currently participating in the 's first Junior Police Academy.  The 21 students, currently known as "cadets," will be able to experience the training and techniques used by law enforcement. The cadets have participated in a mock trial with Bloomingdale Municipal Court Judge Wubbenhorst, where they experienced how a trial is conducted by role-playing in the scenario. The cadets also processed numerous crime scenes, conducted motor vehicle stops, used radar equipment, and investigated a motor vehicle accident. The cadets also experienced the inner workings of a medivac helicopter, which was provided by Atlantic Health Care Systems. The flight nurse and pilot provided detailed information about their duties and the students were allowed to enter the helicopter as part of the learning experience. The cadets were also provided with a demonstration from the Passaic County Swat team and with team-building skills from the .
