Congressman Collects Valentines from Students for Veterans

Frelinghuysen picks valentines at Stonybrook and Martha B. Day elementary schools.

Valentine's Day is not like every other day.

"It's a special day when we give valentines and such," kindergartener Arianna Colon said Monday, when Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen asked a gym full of students at the what the meaning of the holiday was.

Frelinghuysen stopped by the school, as well as , in Kinnelon, to collect valentines the students made for veterans at the Lyons and East Orange VA Medical Centers. He was accompanied by Jim Smith, a veteran from the Chester American Legion Unit 342.
