The Morris County Office of Emergency Management will continue to monitor the long-duration rain event that is expected to arrive this evening and remain with us over the next 24 hour period.

The current forecast data contains severe weather hazards with winds remaining a primary concern along with a flash flooding risk. It is very possible that the AM commute tomorrow may be impacted by the storm.
Rain will continue through the day tomorrow and will be heavy at times before tapering to showers tomorrow evening.

Between tonight and tomorrow, a general 2.00 - 4.00" of rain is expected with localized higher amounts likely where the heaviest band of rain sets up.
Winds capable of producing 50mph gusts are also possible.
