Man Shot By Cops In Morris County Is Convicted Burglar: Report
Dylan Hannah, 23, charged multiple times for drug, burglary offenses since 2011, reports say.

BUTLER, N.J. – The man shot by a Butler Police Officer on Thursday, March 31 has a history of arrests, multiple outlets reported.
Dylan Hannah, 23, was the man reportedly shot by a Butler officer last week, as identified by the Daily Record. Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Executive Captain Richard Rose would not confirm that information.
Hannah lives with his grandparents and was placed on probation in 2015 after pleading guilty to burglary after being charged a total of four times for drug and burglary offenses between 2011 and last year, the report said.

The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office confirmed Friday, April 1 that a person was shot multiple times by an officer.

Police were searching for Hannah in connection with a church burglary that day, nj.com reported.
In March 2015, Hannah allegedly broke in to a residence and led police on a foot chase through a Butler neighborhood, the report said.
The investigation into the March 31 shooting is ongoing and no information is being released at this time, Rose said.
