School Community Mourns 'Sudden' Death of Butler Student
Guidance counselors available Monday morning, district says.

The Butler School District is mourning Monday after the loss of one of their own community members.
According to a statement on the district’s website, a student at the high school died “suddenly” over the weekend, but no other information released.
The statement, in full, reads:

Dear Butler High School Community,
Over the weekend, the Butler High School community suffered an awful tragedy – the sudden death of one of our students. In an effort to support the emotional and mental health needs of our students and staff, we will have grief counselors available to anyone who needs support during this difficult time.
