Local Synagogues Seek Inclusion in Security Meeting
Rash of anti-Semitic crimes across the state prompts Paramus meeting next Thursday.

Synagogues in Essex County have asked for permission to attend an upcoming synagogue security meeting in Bergen County following a rash of anti-Semitic crimes across the state.
According to a report in the Verona-Cedar Grove Times Friday, the security meeting will take place next Thursday in Paramus and may include Temple Sholom of West Essex, located in Cedar Grove, and Congregation Beth Am of West Essex in Verona.
Both synagogues were “dismayed” at not being invited to the security meeting, according to the newspaper.
