UNICO National Scholarship Application Process Underway

Scholarship applications are now available for local high school students from the Cedar Grove chapter of UNICO National.

Cedar Grove high school students, or high school students residing in the township entering their freshman year of college in September, are eligible for the four local scholarships being awarded by the group.

In addition to the local awards applications, students will also become eligible for three awards — one for post-graduate studies, one for post-graduate studies in medicine and one to a recipient studying or planning to study nursing — from the National Scholarship Committee for UNICO National.

This year’s scholarships will be awarded on Wednesday, May 23.

UNICO National was founded 89 years ago on the idea of giving back to the local community and awarding scholarships to local students was the foundation of Cedar Grove UNICO’s commitment.
