Wine Pairing Held to Recognize Verona Foundation's Work

On Feb. 9, the Verona Foundation for Educational Excellence (VFEE) hosted its second annual Wine Pairing at Avenue Bistro.

The event celebrated the work VFEE has done during the last five years — providing teachers with $115,000 in grants to enhance school curriculums.

During the course of the evening, Verona’s Food Network Chopped champion chef Michael DiIonno prepared four food courses — each coupled with a different wine.
