• A large knife, a sleeping grandfather and a history of violence: Grandson indicted in N.J. death (nj.com subscription) — A Cumberland County man has been indicted in the fatal stabbing of his grandfather inside the victim’s Vineland home, where they lived together. Authorities say he fled in a family SUV and was later arrested in Pennsylvania. Prosecutors note he has a prior violent conviction and was already under court monitoring in another case when the Vineland killing allegedly occurred.
