2 Charged In Connection To Wall Home Invasion, Attempted Vehicle Theft: Police
The two were charged in connection with an incident that occurred in late January on Baileys Corner Road, Wall Police said.
WALL, NJ — Two people have been charged in connection with a home invasion and attempted motor vehicle theft that happened in late January, Wall Township Police said.
Yasir Twitty, 21, and Nymir Marks, 19, both of Newark, were charged with conspiracy to commit residential burglary, two counts of criminal attempt to commit theft, conspiracy to commit theft and criminal attempt to commit residential burglary, police said.
The incident occurred on Jan. 20 at a home on Baileys Corner Road, where police said three masked people forcibly entered a home through a back window.

According to police, the homeowner said the suspects stole car keys from a counter inside the house but were unable to take the vehicle from the property.
The homeowner immediately called police, and the suspects fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle heading west on Alliare Road, towards Route 34.

Following an extensive investigation led by Detective Zach Honecker, police identified Twitty and Marks as two of the three suspects.
Twitty is currently incarcerated in Middlesex County Jail, while Marks is being held at Essex County Jail, police said.
The detective bureau of the Wall Township Police Department is continuing its investigation and working to identify the third suspect involved with the incident.
