WALL, NJ – There was only one candidate filing for the three openings on the Wall Township Board of Education, according to the Monmouth County Clerk’s Office.

Current board member Adam Nasr was the only candidate to file by the Monday 4 p.m. deadline. Two other board members, Christine Steitz, and board vice-president Andrew Krupa, have terms expiring at the end of the year but neither filed.

The nine-member board has come under intense scrutiny from parents and members of the community to handle the situation involving the former trailers at Central Elementary School, including the recently completed investigation into the matter.
