Controlled Burns Planned Throughout Wall Township: Police

WALL, NJ — Residents should be aware of controlled burns planned throughout Wall on Thursday, Wall Township Police said.

The NJ Forest Fire Service will be conducting the burns Thursday morning at:

• Hospital Road / Allaire State Park
• The 4240 block of Atlantic Avenue
• The Wildlife Management Area off Ramshorn

"These burns are carefully planned to reduce wildfire risk and maintain healthy forest ecosystems," police said. "Please don't be alarmed if you see smoke in these areas. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!"
