Driving While Intoxicated, Drug Possession: Wall Police Blotter

Wall Police reported three incidents of driving while intoxicated from Jan. 14 through Jan. 19.

WALL, NJ — Wall Police reported incidents of driving while intoxicated and drug possession from Jan. 14 through Jan. 19.

Jan. 14
Offaga Melvin, 51, of Neptune, was charged with possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Route 35. Melvin was processed and brought to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Julia Hunter, 37, of Neptune City, was charged with possession of heroin, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Route 35. Hunter was processed and released on a summons.

Jan. 16
Vincent Iacono, 29, of Wall, was charged with possession of heroin, cocaine, and drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle accident investigation on 3rd Avenue.

Iacono was processed and brought to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Jan. 17
Miguel Gonzalez, 39, of Wall, was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Route 35.

Gonzalez was processed and released in accordance with John’s Law, which requires police to impound the driver's vehicle for 12 hours following their arrest. To be released from custody, the driver must also contact someone who will take responsibility for them and ensure they do not drive while still under the influence.

Willie Garner, 25, of Brick, was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Route 70. Garner was processed and released in accordance with John’s Law.

Jan. 18
Jahleil Brown, 27, of Neptune, was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Route 35. Brown was processed and released in accordance with John’s Law.

Jan. 19
Shilove Nieves, 36, of Bayville, was charged with possession of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and a warrant out of Bradley Beach following a motor vehicle stop on Route 35.

Nieves was processed and released on a summons after posting bail on Bradley Beach’s warrant.
