Drug Possession, DWI: Wall Police Blotter
Wall Police reported multiple incidents of drug possession and driving while intoxicated from Jan. 27 through Feb. 1.
WALL, NJ — Wall Police reported incidents of drug possession, driving while intoxicated and more from Jan. 27 through Feb. 1.
Jan. 27
Marie White, 64, of Wall, was charged with driving while intoxicated and being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance following a motor vehicle stop on Maple Street.
White was processed and released in accordance with John’s Law, which requires police to impound the driver's vehicle for 12 hours following their arrest.

To be released from custody, the driver must also contact someone who will take responsibility for them and ensure they don't drive while under the influence.
Jan. 28
Devin Gelewski, 22, of Toms River, was arrested following an investigation into a theft from a motor vehicle that occurred on Jan. 18.

Gelewski turned himself in on a wanted person warrant and was charged with burglary, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was processed and brought to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
Jan. 30
Amanda Dibenedetto, 32, of Belmar, and Amber Dibenedetto, 31, of Belmar, were charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and intent to distribute following a motor vehicle stop on Route 138.
Amanda Dibenedetto was also found to have an outstanding warrant from Neptune Township.
Both subjects were processed and brought to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
Jan. 31
Shane Caba-Elder, 31, of Newark, was charged with possession of cocaine and found to have an arrest warrant out of Hammonton following a motor vehicle stop on Route 18. Caba-Elder was processed and released on his own recognizance by Hammonton.
Cody Clancy, 30, of Wall, was found to have a wanted person warrant out of the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on 18th Ave. Clancy was processed and brought to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
Leandra Santos, 39, of Toms River, was charged with driving while intoxicated and possession of cocaine following an investigation into a disabled vehicle on Route 138. Santos was processed and released in accordance with John’s Law.
Feb. 1
Sammy Davis, 59, of Neptune City, was charged with shoplifting, possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest, and obstruction following a shoplifting investigation on Route 35. Davis was processed and brought to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
Tomasz Wachowicz, 45, of Wall, was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Atlantic Ave. Wachowicz was processed and released in accordance with John’s Law.
