Ex-Wall Teacher Admits Sexually Assaulting Students, Prosecutor Says
The former high school teacher admitted that she had inappropriate relationships with two students, prosecutors said.

WALL, NJ — A former Wall Township High School teacher has pleaded guilty to engaging in separate sexual acts with two of her students, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago said Tuesday.
Julie Rizzitello, 37, of Brick Township, pleaded guilty last week to two counts of second-degree sexual assault during a hearing before Monmouth County Superior Court Judge Jill O’Malley, Santiago said.
Investigation into Rizzitello’s activities revealed that criminal conduct by Rizzitello encompassed sex acts with separate victims that took place in three municipalities at various points over the course of several years, prosecutors said.

According to a probable cause affidavit obtained by Patch, one of the victims began a romantic relationship with Rizzitello in April 2024 and received nude photographs of Rizzitello following the first time they had sexual intercourse.
After the victim consented to investigators searching his phone, the affidavit said they found “numerous communications and photographs” shared between him and Rizzitello that were sexual in nature.
On July 2, court documents said Rizzitello told the student to delete the photos and communications.
Sentencing in Rizzitello’s case is scheduled to take place on Friday, Jan. 9, 2026, at which time the state will recommend a term of 10 years in state prison, registration as a sex offender under Megan’s Law, Parole Supervision for Life, and permanent forfeiture of public office.
Investigation into the matter was led by Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Detective Jose I. Rodriguez and Wall Township Police Detective Devin Corso.
The investigation also involved members of the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Bureau and Wall Township Police Department, with assistance from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office and Brick Township Police Department.
The case is being prosecuted by Monmouth County Assistant Prosecutor Keri-Leigh Schaefer. Rizzitello is being represented by Mitch Ansell, Esq. with an office in Ocean Township.
