Wall 2-Car Accident: Georgia Man Charged With Reckless Driving
Georgia driver also had a suspended license in an auto collision with multiple injuries Saturday on Highway 35 in Wall, police said.
WALL, NJ — A Georgia man, driving on a suspended license, has been charged with reckless driving in a two-car crash that injured a Point Pleasant couple on Saturday on Route 35 in Wall, police said.
The man also faces criminal charges, pending toxicology results, according to police.
At about 6:45 p.m. on Oct. 7, Wall police went to the scene of the accident involving the Georgia man and the Point Pleasant couple at Route 35 and 18th Avenue. There were multiple injuries, police said, and the three people had to be extricated from their vehicles.

According to police, a 2011 Nissan Altima driven by Mitchell G. Holley, 34, of Linburn, Ga., was traveling on Highway 35 southbound when he left his lane of travel and entered the northbound lane of State Highway 35.
He then hit a 2023 Mazda CX3 being operating by a 39-year-old man and occupied by a 31-year-old woman, both from Point Pleasant, police said.

All occupants had to be extricated from their cars by emergency crews and transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.
Holley, who was operating the Nissan Altima, was found to be operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver's license. He was issued motor vehicle summonses for reckless driving and driving while suspended. Criminal charges are pending toxicology results at this time, police said.
Highway 35 from Wall Church Road to 18th Avenue was shut down in both directions for approximately an hour and half while emergency crews conducted extrication and medical treatment and crash investigators processed the scene, police said.
The collision is being investigated by members of the Wall Township Police Department.

Fire and rescue crews from West Belmar Fire Department, Glendola Fire Department and South Wall Fire and Rescue responded to the scene, as well as emergency medical crews from Wall Township Police EMS, Belmar EMS and paramedics from Hackensack Meridian.
