WALL, NJ — Two people are facing multiple charges after a Wall Township police dog helped make a drug arrest earlier this week, Wall Township Police said.

On Tuesday, April 29, Ptl. Clint Forgach conducted a traffic stop on Highway 34 near the Garden State Parkway.

During the stop, police said Ptl. Joseph Antunez and his K9 partner, Axel, a six-year-old German Shepherd trained in narcotics detection, helped with the investigation.

"I want to commend our dedicated officers and K9 unit for their outstanding work in this drug arrest,” Wall Township Police Chief Sean O’Halloran said. “Their vigilance, teamwork, and professionalism continue to make our community safer.”

“Special recognition goes to K9 Axel, whose training played a crucial role in removing dangerous substances from our streets,” O’Halloran continued. “This is a proud moment for our department and a clear message that we remain committed to protecting our neighborhoods."
