The Princess Maria Tells The Whole Story Of Being A NJ Diner
The Princess Maria Diner has been a staple of the Wall community for the past 25 years.
WALL, NJ – Diners are an essential part of the whole New Jersey experience. From grubbing over late-night disco fries with friends after a night out to a Sunday morning breakfast with the family, diners give their guests a warm, welcoming place to enjoy a meal.
This sentiment is echoed by Costas Kaiafas, owner of the Princess Maria Diner, who has been serving the people of Wall delicious diner fair that everyone knows for the past 22 years.
“Diners, in general, we guarantee the fastest service and the most flexible menu, at much more reasonable prices,” Kaiafas said.

It’s this service that builds a relationship between the diner and the community that it serves.
“I’ve seen babies become teenagers, high-schoolers become parents, and parents become great-grandparents,” Kaiafas said.

‘The hardest part, though, is when you head that people that you have grown attached to have passed away.”
Despite this connection with the community, Kaiafas feels that diners are somewhat of a dying breed.
“It’s getting harder and harder,” Kaiafas said. “We’re running out of generations of kids groomed to take over the business.”
