'Roadside Investigation' Leads To Arrests For Drugs, Gun In Wall
Three people, including a Wall resident, were arrested after a traffic stop on Shafto Road in Wall on Thursday.
WALL, NJ — A motor vehicle stop made by a Wall Township Police Department officer on Thursday, Oct. 19, led to the arrest of three people for possession of narcotics and a firearm.
Patrolman James Yannazzone was on patrol on Thursday at approximately 10:35 a.m. when he made a motor vehicle stop of a 2013 Honda Odyssey in the area of Shafto Road and Shark River Station Road.
A roadside investigation by Yannazzone led to the arrest of the following suspects:

- Queseem M Washington, 43, of Newark, who was charged with: unlawful possession of a weapon (.25 Caliber Licron handgun); possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose; possession of cocaine; possession of heroin; possession of MDMA (Ecstasy); possession of prescription drugs without valid prescription; possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled dangerous substance while operating a motor vehicle.
- Syedda A. Burr, 47, of East Orange who was charged with: possession of cocaine; possession of heroin; possession of MDMA (Ecstasy); possession of prescription drugs without a valid prescription; possession of drug paraphernalia; hindering the apprehension of oneself and contempt of court.
- Kenneth M. Elder Jr., 43, of Wall Township who was charged with: possession of cocaine; possession of heroin; possession of MDMA (Ecstasy); possession of prescription drugs without a valid prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia.
All those arrested were processed and transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution, Freehold, police said.
