School Bus Overturns After Crash On Garden State Parkway, State Police Say

WALL, NJ — A school bus ran off the Garden State Parkway and overturned after colliding with a BMW on Wednesday morning, NJ State Police Trooper Christopher Postorino told Patch.

Around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, troopers responded to a motor vehicle crash on the Garden State Parkway North near milepost 95.8 in Wall Township.

Based on a preliminary investigation, police found that a BMW and a school bus were both going north when they collided, causing the school bus to run off the road to the left, hit the guard rail and overturn.

The driver of the school bus, who was the only person on the bus, sustained minor injuries and was brought to an area hospital for treatment, Postorino said. No other injuries were reported.

The crash is currently under investigation. As of Wednesday afternoon, NJ State Police said no other information is available.
