Search & Rescue Drill Set For Wall

Residents should not be alarmed if they see a search and rescue operation underway in Wall, starting Saturday morning, police advise.

WALL, NJ — Urban Search & Rescue will be conducting a search training drill in the area of Orchard Crest on Saturday, March 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., police said Friday night.

Residents should not be alarmed if they see the uniformed search teams walking in the area.

The training is being done under the auspices of the state State of New Jersey Office of Emergency Management and the National US&R Response System, part of FEMA, the notice says.
