Second Arrest Made In Rash Of Wall Home, Car Burglaries

WALL, NJ — Police now have made a second arrest in connection with attempted home and car burglaries Sept. 21, in the Sterling Woods section of Wall.
Kevin J. Yuille, 24, of Elizabeth, was arrested in Newark on Saturday, Nov. 4, after an investigation by Wall Detective Zach Honecker.
Yuille was charged in connection to a residential burglary on Riverside Terrace and attempted residential burglaries on Deer Run and Equestrian Lane to burglarize and/or steal vehicles from the homes, police said Tuesday. The incidents took place in the evening hours of Sept. 21.

Honecker charged Yuille with two counts of burglary to a motor vehicle, two counts of conspiracy to commit burglary to a residence and four counts of conspiracy to commit motor vehicle burglaries, all third-degree crimes. Yuille is currently at the Essex County Correctional Facility.
Yuille’s co-defendant Ahmad Singletary, 24, of Newark was arrested in mid-October in the incidents.

He was charged with:
- 15 counts of burglary to a motor vehicle.
- 3 counts of burglary to a residence.
- 7 counts of conspiracy to commit motor vehicle burglary.
- 1 count of conspiracy to commit a residential burglary.
- 1 count of conspiracy to commit motor vehicle theft.
These are all third-degree offenses, police said.
Singletary was also charged with these disorderly persons offenses:
- 2 counts of receiving stolen property.
- 2 counts of theft.
- 1 count of criminal mischief.
Singletary is currently jailed on unrelated charges, police said.
