Solar Farm Approved For West Belmar Section Of Wall

The plan is for 4,732 panels to be installed on the nine-acre plot of land, which is being leased from Wall Township.

WALL, NJ – The Wall Township planning board recently approved the final site plan for a solar farm to be built on a plot of land between 18th Avenue, Route 71, and the train tracks.

According to the application, Wall Gateway Solar LLC will be installing a social photovoltaic system on the current vacant parcel of land, which will bring solar electricity into the existing power grid through the 4,732 panels that will be installed.

The property is owned by Wall Township and is being leased by Wall Gateway Solar for the solar farm and falls in line with the township’s designation of the area as a redevelopment zone.
