Star Student Athlete: Wall's Taylor Is Also 'Kind And Well Rounded'

WALL, NJ — We all know student athletes who also bring their A-game to other parts of their lives.
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. We’re working to let all your neighbors know the individual stories behind the leaderboard.
This submission comes from Linda who nominated her daughter, Taylor, a high school senior, of Wall.

Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?
She has a 3.9GPA, is in National Honor Society. She is number 54 in her class out of 256 students (top 20 percent).
While she is at high school she also enrolled in Dual Enrollment at Brookdale Community College, taking 12 credits this year.
She volunteers at the nursing home and homeless shelter.
She has been playing softball since she was 5 years old. She has played throughout intermediate school and high school as the lead or batter and starting shortstop. She also played travel softball for eight years for the Wall Stars.
She is very kind and well rounded. She has intelligence, dedication, is committed and a talented athlete.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?
She is one of a kind.
