Trunk Or Treat Event To Take Place On October 28

WALL, NJ – The Township of Wall will be holding its annual Trunk or Treat celebration on Thursday, Oct. 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Municipal Complex on 2700 Allaire Road.

The free event is rain or shine and is for kids up to 13 years old. According to Patti Mariconda, the township’s youth center director, their year’s event will also have a DJ, and they are expecting between 600 and 700 kids for this year’s event.

“We usually draw hundreds of kids every year because it’s outdoors, and they can hang out with their friends and go from car to car and have a good time,” Mariconda said.

If you are looking to participate, you must register on Community Pass by Oct. 22. On the day of the event, all vehicles taking part must arrive between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m., and only registered cars can park in the designated Trunk or Treat area.

Generators are not allowed, but battery-powered lights are welcome for your displays, and make sure to bring some other options for kids with food allergies like toys and stickers.
