WALL, NJ – The Wall Township Board of Education will be holding a special meeting on Tuesday at 7 p.m. to present the investigation findings and take questions from the public about the situation involving the trailers at Central Elementary School.

According to the report, which can already be found online, board attorney Anthony Sciarillo and his law firm found that the Board Of Education was not at fault for their handling of the two trailers, which were used as overflow classrooms until their removal in 2020 after they were found to have mold and other signs of weather-related deterioration.

The determination made by Schiarillo and his firm was similar to one made by the Monmouth County Prosecutors’ Office this past December.

The investigation looked into all aspects of the trailers, including the need for them and the financing, the process for getting them, and the decision to get used trailers.

“Our review of the securing, financing, installation, maintenance, and demolition of the trailers did not reveal wrongdoing on the part of the Board Of Education,” the report’s summary said.

According to the report, 45 people, including parents, staff, and various building, school, and county officials, were interviewed, and over 8,000 pages of documents were reviewed over the course of the investigation, which the Board of Education recommended after an earlier internal investigation by former interim superintendent Henry Cram.

The presentation is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Wall High School cafeteria and will also be broadcast live on the district’s YouTube channel.
