Wall DWI Checkpoint Saturday Night
Motorists can expect to be diverted from Route 138 west to a local street in Wall as part of a county DWI initiative.
WALL, NJ — Motorists can expect a Monmouth County DWI sobriety check this Saturday, July 15, in Wall from 10 p.m. Saturday to 2 a.m. on Sunday.
All westbound vehicles on Route 138 will be diverted at Maxwell Road.
On Friday night, July 14, there is also a checkpoint planned from 10 p.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday on Route 35 in Shrewsbury. All southbound vehicles on Route 35 in Shrewsbury will be diverted Friday night into the Avenue of the Commons shopping center, said Chief Michael Schneider, Allenhurst, County DWI Task Force Coordinator.

During both checkpoints, officers from local police departments will work alongside members of the Task Force to determine the sobriety of all drivers, Schneider said.
