Local restaurants can compete for the title at the 9th Jersey Shore Meatball Gala, and raise money for drug and alcohol prevention programs.
WALL, NJ — Who has the best meatball on the Jersey Shore?
You can find out at the ninth annual Jersey Shore Meatball Gala, which will return to the shore this April.
Set to take place at Spring Lake Manor from 6-9 p.m. on April 29, the gala will also serve as a fundraiser for Wall Alliance Drug & Alcohol Prevention programs.

The alliance aims to combat issues of alcoholism and drug abuse while promoting improved relations, communication and community service in Wall.
At the gala, attendees will get to try “fun and funky meatball creations,” while restaurants and businesses compete for the title of “Best Meatball on the Jersey Shore,” alongside other categories.

Tickets start at $60 and go up to $70 the day of the event. Tickets will go on sale on March 11, and the event is open to those 21 and over.
