Wall Woman Fatally Struck By Car As She Waited For Ride
Georgina M. Stelman, 40, died at the hospital after she was struck by a car Wednesday evening as she waited for a ride outside her home.
WALL, NJ — A Wall woman was struck by a car and later died Wednesday night while waiting for a ride from a friend outside of her Brighton Avenue home, according to a police report.
Georgina M. Stelman, 40, was waiting for the ride at approximately 8:24 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6, when she was struck by the car, police said.
Wall police were called to Brighton Avenue in the area of Romano Boulevard for the accident.

According to the investigation, a 2012 Honda Pilot being operated by a 64-year-old Oakhurst (Ocean Township) woman was traveling eastbound on Brighton Avenue when she struck Stelman, police said.
Stelman was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune by Wall Township Emergency Medical Services where she was pronounced deceased approximately three hours later, police said.

The accident is being investigated by Sgt. Andrew Baldino and Patrolman Johan Moreno-Garcia.
