GREEN BROOK, NJ — Mouthwatering barbeque is coming to Somerset County this May with Red, White & Que Smokehouse relocating to the area.

The BBQ joint will be moving from Kearny to 150 Route 22 West in Green Brook, where the former Burnet Burger restaurant used to be. The location has remained vacant for a few years now.

The new location will have seating for at least 50 people, outdoor space, parking, AC and heat, said owners Dan and Katie Misuraca on their Facebook page.

"We will miss our little Kearny location and all of you that made it what it has been for the past 6 years. We will be announcing our final day in Kearny as soon we know for sure when that will be. As always, Thanks for being a part of our American Dream!" said Dan and Katie Misuraca.

The husband and wife duo initally opened their first location in Kearny in 2016. Since then Thrillist named the rapidly-expanding business the state's best barbecue and NJ.com called it "New Jersey's best BBQ newcomer'' in May 2016 and again in 2021.
