New Committee Member To Be Sworn In At 2023 Warren Reorganization Meeting

WARREN, NJ — A new committeewoman will be sworn into the Warren Township Committee at the 2023 Reorganization meeting.

Republican Lisa Lontai won over Democrat Ashok Rakhit for the one, three-year seats on the township committee, according to official results by the Somerset County Clerk.

Lontai received 3,429 votes over 3,120 for Rakhit.

Lontai will be sworn in at the reorganization meeting on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2023, at 6 p.m. The meeting will take place in the Warren Municipal Court Building at 44 Mountain Blvd., Warren.

The meeting is open to the public to attend in person or virtually via Zoom. RSVP to Cathy Reese, Township Clerk at creese@warrenj.org
