Warren BOE Honors Staffer Who Saved A Life

WARREN, NJ -- At a meeting Nov. 13 the school board honored one of their own. Paraprofessional Laura Dupper was recognized for her quick actions in saving a student's life. While supervising lunch Dupper noticed a student in distress and without hesitation performed the Heimlich maneuver, forcing the food caught in the student's throat to come out. They were then checked out by the school nurse immediatly afterwards.
