New, unwrapped toys will be collected through Dec. 11.

WARREN, NJ — The holidays are just around the corner, and the effort to ensure every child receives a toy is in full swing with a Toys for Tots drive in Warren Township.

Toys for Tots is an effort led by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve since 1947 to ensure children in need can feel the joy of unwrapping a toy on Christmas. The campaign draws participation from over 800 communities covering all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.

The Warren toy drive runs for Nov. 18 to Dec. 11, and donations are accepted Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
