Warren Man Arrested for DWI After Car Crash in Watchung
A motor vehicle accident in Watchung led to the arrest of a Warren Township man for DWI.

A Warren Township man was charged with driving while intoxicated after a two-car accident in Watchung, authorities said.
Anthony A. Peterpaul, 64, of Warren, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after being involved in a motor vehicle accident around 10:30 p.m. on April 5, according to a report from NJ.com.
A 2008 Honda being driven by Remadevi Chandrasekharan, 41, of Piscataway, was struck by Peterpaul driving a 2010 Audi, the report said. No injuries were reported and Chandrasekharan was able to drive away from the scene of the accident authorities said.

Peterpaul’s vehicle was towed from the accident scene and he was transported to police headquarters. He refused a breathalyzer at police headquarters, the report said.
Peterpaul was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal and careless driving, NJ.com reported. He was released on his own recognizance into the custody of Francis Peterpaul.
