Community Sport 'Awesome' For Warren Man Injured in ATV Accident

Quaid Mobus returned home to New Jersey this week after an accident on an All-Terrain Vehicle in Pennsylvania that severely injured his spine. The community has thrown its support behind his family in Warren, and some fundraising activities are just gearing up.

Celeste Campos Running For Warren Township School Board as Write-In

Although Celeste Campos wasn't the one of the five applicants for a vacancy on the K-8 Warren Township school district to be chosen as a replacement this week for a vacancy on the Board of Education created by the resignation of John DeBellis, she did heed the board president's plea that some of those applications run as a write-in for school board in November. Three seats are open on the board, and only one candidate, incumbent James Senas, will be listed on the ballot on Nov. 5.

Warren Township School Board Selects New Member

The Warren Township Board of Education on Tuesday night selected Len DeMontagnac to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of board member John DeBellis, for a term lasting through the end of 2014. DeMontagnac, who served on the school district's Strategic Planning Committee, later said he has two children at the Angelo L. Tomaso School and has lived in town for eight years.

Wagner Farm Farmers Market Extends Season On Thursdays

Don't worry _ you don't have to give up on going on Thursdays to your favorite farmers market in your own back yard. Wagner Farm Arboretum is extending the market with many of the usual vendors into November. Suzanne Smith, president of the non-profit arboretum, said the last day of the season will be the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, when the usual day will be moved from Thursday.

Watchung Hills Invites Public, Veterans to Military Plaque Dedication
