Mount Saint Mary Academy Choir in Radio Christmas Contest

The choir of Mount Saint Mary Academy has made the final contest cut. The singers are one of 15 groups who are in the running to win the annual NJ101.5 Christmas Choir Contest.

The winning choir will be awarded a grand prize, a piano for their school, according to the radio station's website. Cash prizes will be given to the winner in each category, elementary, middle and high schools.

The choir receiving the most votes will be declared the overall winner on Dec. 23. Mount Saint Mary's air date has not yet been set.

Each of the finalists will have a recording of their Christmas songs uploaded to the NJ101.5 website and played on the radio. Each choir will have a 24-hour span in which their fans can vote for them.
