Prosecutor: Six Arrested in Somerset County For Possession Of Heroin, Suboxone
Six Somerset County residents were arrested after authorities received a tip about a vehicle containing occupants in possession of heroin.
Somerset County Prosecutor Geoffrey D. Soriano announced six people have been arrested in Bridgewater for numerous drug charges.
Douglas Zielaznicki, 49, of Old York Road in Bridgewater, George Hagaman, 35, Deann Larson, 46, Erik Snyder, 22, James Snyder, 41, and Bruce Snyder, 47, all of Brahma Avenue, were arrested on drug charges, including possession of heroin, authorities reported.
According to Soriano, the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Organized Crime and Narcotics Task Force received a tip on Feb. 26 about a red Toyota Sequoia SUV that would be arriving at Zielaznicki’s home on Brahma Avenue and the vehicle’s occupants would be in possession of heroin.

At approximately 10 p.m. members of the Task Force observed the vehicle arrive at the Brahma Avenue home and approached the vehicle. As authorities approached, Bruce Snyder exited the SUV and ran toward the residence, the prosecutor’s office said.
Snyder was apprehended while running toward the home and found to be in possession of nine decks of heroin, used empty wax folds and two hypodermic needles, authorities said. Zielaznicki consented to a search of his person and his vehicle, revealing four decks of heroin. Larsen voluntarily surrendered 18 decks of heroin and one used empty wax fold.

As a result, all three were placed under arrest.
Detectives then executed a search warrant of the Brahma Avenue home, during which they located and detained James Snyder, Erik Snyder and George Hagaman. After searching Hagaman’s living area, detectives seized eight suboxone packets and numerous hypodermic needles, the prosecutor’s office reported. Additionally, detectives said they found 18 suboxone packets, numerous hypodermic needles and drug paraphernalia, including glass pipes and empty baggies, in a bedroom shared by James Snyder, Erik Snyder and Larsen.
All three were subsequently arrested.
Prosecutor Soriano reported the total estimated street value of the heroin seized is approximately $465 and the total estimated street value of the suboxone seized is approximately $520.
The defendants are facing numerous drug charges.
According to the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office, Zielaznicki was charged with possession of heroin, a third degree offense. Hagaman was charged with possession of suboxone, a third degree offense, and possession of hypodermic needles, a disorderly persons offense. Larson has been charged with possession of heroin, possession of suboxone, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic needles, both disorderly person offenses.
Erik Snyder has been charged with possession of suboxone and possession of hypodermic needles, the prosecutor’s office said. James Snyder was charged with possession of suboxone, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic needles. Bruce Snyder was charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hypodermic needles and obstruction.
Erik Snyder and Zielaznicki were released on their own recognizance, according to authorities. Hagaman, James Snyder, Bruce Snyder and Larson were held in the Somerset County Jail.
