School Budgets Coming This Week

It's Monday, the start of another work-week, the end of the weekend, and that can only mean one thing—it's time to look ahead to the week at hand.

It's going to be busy in Watchung and Green Brook, and we've got your list of things to look out for, from meetings to school activities and everything in between.

This week is going to be a lot about school budgets, with a public hearing for the Watchung Board of Education’s budget to be held Thursday.

• The Green Brook Township Committee will holding a meeting Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the municipal building on Greenbrook Road.
• The Watchung Planning Board will be holding a meeting Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. in the municipal building on Mountain Boulevard.
• The Green Brook Board of Education will be holding a business meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday in the media center of the Green Brook Middle School.
• The Watchung Board of Education will be holding a public hearing for its budget at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Valley View School on Valley View Road.
