Somerset County Lottery Ticket Worth $280,222

Somebody got lucky in yesterday's Pick 5 drawing—and it could be your neighbor.

A Jersey Cash 5 lottery ticket sold at the Shop & Go, on JFK Boulevard in Somerset, for Monday's drawing is worth $280,222 as the only ticket hitting all five numbers, lottery officials announced.

“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at the Shop & Go,” NJ Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger said. “For selling this ticket, the retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000. Overnight, it has become one more ‘lucky location’ for the very fortunate lottery winner.”

The winning numbers were 06, 07, 09, 26 and 33.

Hedinger also noted that 5,015 other players won $117,590 in cash prizes in the Monday drawing. For correctly picking four numbers, 120 players won cash prizes of $572 each, and for correctly matching three numbers, 4,895 players won $10 each.

The jackpot for New Jersey Lottery’s Pick 6 Lotto game rolled to $2.7 million after going without a winner despite 574,021 tickets sold for the
Monday drawing. While there was no top prizewinner, Hedinger reported that 11 players won $2,609 in cash prizes in the drawing for correctly picking five numbers. Another 595 players won cash prizes of $53 each for correctly matching four numbers and 10,166 players won $3 each for correctly matching three numbers.
