Washington Rock Holding Football, Cheerleading Registration Now

Washington Rock Pop Warner is holding registration now for its youth football and cheerleading programs, serving kids in Dunellen, Green Brook and North Plainfield.

The program is the Pop Warner Little Scholars football and cheerleading program that is held in 42 states, and serves children ages 5 to 15.

This year, according to the program's website, they are hoping to provide new uniforms for one of the cheer squads, and there will be a change to the jerseys for at least one of the football squads.

In addition, the website said, the program's board is petitioning for a change in the national conference that would make it more competitive for the squads, while also bringing the games closer to home.

Although in-person registration dates are over, students can still register to be part of the program by mailing the registration form to WRPW, 2 Murray Court, Green Brook, NJ 08812.

The registration fee is $100 for the first child, $150 for two children and $180 for three or more children.
