Watchung Democratic Council Candidates Hosting Cookout On Sunday
The event starts at 4 p.m. and will continue until 7 p.m. There will be free burgers, beers and soda.
WATCHUNG, NJ — The two Democratic candidates running for Borough Council, John Malchow and incumbent Daryl Eisenberg Knegten, will host a cookout Sunday at the Malchow residence.
The event is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be free burgers, beers and soda.
“One of the best things about Watchung are the people who live here and we’re so glad to welcome our friends and neighbors to join us for a beautiful summer Sunday cookout," Malchow said in a statement.

Eisenberg and Malchow will face off against Republicans Christine Ead and Kurt Dahl in the general election in November.
There were no surprises during the June primary, as the four were the only candidates running for the two open seats.
