Twenty-four visitors were on a winning streak at this year’s Somerset County 4-H Fair in drawings held at the Somerset County Government tents.

Through displays, hands-on projects, activities, games, and demonstrations, visitors learned about the many programs and services provided by county government. Visitors entered drawings for prizes, which were generously donated by local businesses and organizations.

“The weather was balmy all three days, which brought out a large number of visitors from our county, local businesses, other counties and out of state. We are glad they made the 4-H Fair a destination spot and visited the Government tents,” said Freeholder Director Mark Caliguire.

“The Fair offers us an opportunity to share information about programs and services so when a situation arises in a resident’s family they know beforehand who we are and how to contact us,” he said.
