3 Arrested After 'Shots Fired' Incident At NJ Mall

A pair of adults and a minor are custody after a fracas at the food court, police said.

WAYNE, NJ — A food court fracas at the Willowbrook Mall on Tuesday led to shots being fired and a massive police response that cleared out the facility and diverted NJ Transit busses, police said.

Two adults and one minor were taken into custody after the investigation, according to Wayne Police Chief Joseph Rooney.

No charges have been filed yet, authorities said.

Rooney noted that there is no ongoing threat to the mall, and doors will be open for business as usual on Wednesday.
