8 Hurt When NJ Transit Bus Hits Car, Pole In Totowa: PD
Officials said the bus collided with another vehicle, then ran into a utility pole. The injured passengers were taken to the hospital.

TOTOWA, NJ — Several passengers had minor injuries Monday after a New Jersey Transit bus hit another vehicle, then struck a utility pole in Totowa, police said.
The incident took place at around 12:39 p.m. near the corner of Redman Place and Union Boulevard, according to Totowa Police and NJ Transit. The 712 bus was northbound on Union Boulevard and collided with the other vehicle, causing the bus to then hit the pole at the corner of Redman Place.
First responders transported eight of the 12 passengers on the bus to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson "for minor complaints of pain," police said.

Both drivers were not injured, officials added.
NJ Transit said the bus was headed to the Hackensack Bus Terminal when the collision took place.
