Body Found In New Jersey Mountain Reservation: Police
The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office is investigating the discovery of a 42-year-old man's body on Garrett Mountain Reservation.

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — The body of a 42-year-old man was found on Thursday afternoon in a mountain reservation within Passaic County, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office.
Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said that at approximately 1 p.m., members of the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office found the body within the Garret Mountain Reservation.
The man's identity has not been revealed.

The prosecutor's office said that no suspects are currently being sought and that there is no danger to the public.
The man's car was also found in the area of the reservation, police said.

"This matter remains an active and ongoing investigation," Valdes said.
Garret Mountain Reservation is a 568-acre park located on First Watchung Mountain in Paterson and Woodland Park in southern Passaic County.
Operated by the Passaic County Parks Department, Garret Mountain Reservation includes an equestrian center, athletic fields, fishing, picnic grounds, jogging paths, and trails for cross-country skiing, hiking and running.
