Route 23 Reopens After Crash Involving Pedestrian In Passaic County
The crash was first reported before 7 a.m. Tuesday, and all lanes were closed and detoured for close to two hours.

WEST MILFORD, NJ — Officials are investigating a crash and "pedestrian accident" that happened Tuesday morning along Route 23 in West Milford.
The incident was first reported at 6:42 a.m., north of County Road 699/Old Ridge Road. All lanes were closed and detoured for close to two hours, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation. Route 23 had fully reopened by 10 a.m., per 511nj.org and local police.
West Milford Police directed all inquiries to the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office, and Patch will update this article with any information from the PCPO.
