Donors Could Win $2.5K In First Of 2 Upcoming Wayne Blood Drives
Blood donors are needed! You can help save a life, and donors at one drive will get a "pint for pint" voucher and maybe a $2,500 gift card.
WAYNE, NJ — Two blood drives in early September will give Wayne-area residents the chance to help save a life, and donate much-needed blood supplies to local hospitals.
There is an urgent need for Type O donors right now, according to the New York Blood Center, which is a community-based blood supplier in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
The 2nd annual Wayne Police Athletic League Community Blood Drive is on Monday, Sept. 9, and the NYBC is also hosting a drive on Wednesday, Sept. 4. Donors can sign up to give blood and may also donate double red cells at either event.

The Blood Center will also enter donors into a drawing for a $2,500 Target gift card, as a thanks for being a "Labor Day Lifesaver."
