Mariel goes above and beyond for her students inside the classroom, as well as outside the classroom. Mariel has a special place in her heart for all of her students. Not only is Mariel an excellent Speech Pathologist, she is a very caring mentor. Mariel will forgo her lunch hour to eat lunch with students who need extra help in other classes. She gives pep talks to troubled students. Mariel has gone to students' dance recitals outside of school hours. These are just a few examples of how Mariel goes above and beyond. Last year was Mariel's first year at the school and she has made an ever lasting impression in just one year. The parents and children know that Mariel can be counted on for ANYTHING!!
