PATERSON, NJ - A house fire in a residential section of Paterson displaced a family Thursday, Red Cross officials said.
The family of five was displaced from their home on Hopper Street following the blaze, New Jersey Red Cross officials said in a statement posted to Twitter Thursday evening.
It was not immediately clear if there were any injuries as a result of the fire, or how the blaze originated.

Volunteers provided emergency assistance to the family for temporary lodging, food and clothing needs, the organization said.
